QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE EVALUATION OF IMPACT DAMAGE TO CONCRETE TARGETS USING 3D-SCANNING TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
For the penetration of porous materials, damage plays an important role. However, the systematic evaluation of damage is a challenge. This paper presents a method using the example of projectile impact tests on ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete that allows the qualitative and quantitative assessment of damage to perforated finite targets. Modern 3D-scanning technology is utilized for this task. The advantages of damage assessment using 3D scanning technology are presented in this paper.
