Multiscale Analysis of Composite Structures and Materials by SwiftComp Mobile App

BANGHUA ZHAO, WENBIN YU

Abstract

SwiftComp mobile App based on iOS and Android platforms has been developed to analyze composite materials using Google’s Flutter framework and dart language. It is a user-friendly App for computing properties for composites by utilizing SwiftComp capability. The App is currently available to download on iOS AppStore and Google Play Store. The current functionalities of this App include the calculation of lamina stress/strain, lamina engineering constants, laminate stress/strain, laminate plate properties, laminate 3D properties, and composite properties for unidirectional fiber reinforced composites. More multiscale constitutive modeling capabilities of the desktop version of SwiftComp will be implemented in the future version of this App. The SwiftComp App is jointly developed by both authors and is free to use on smart phones.
