Simultaneous Identification of Temperature Dependent Thermophysical Properties from Transient Temperature History by Genetic Algorithm
Abstract
Simultaneous identification of the volumetric heat capacity and thermal conductivity with arbitrary temperature dependence based on transient temperature histories were studied. The direct and inverse heat conduction problem was defined according to a real application, i.e. the evaluation of the BICOND thermophysical property measurement method. The inverse problem was solved by genetic algorithm using noiseless and noisy simulated measurement results. Based on the results of the presented numerical examples the application of the proposed inverse method with real measurements is promising
