Abstract

The paper deals with two scale approach to design of filled polymeric composites being based on computational mechanics and physical mesomechanics concepts. 1. Computer aided design—direct and inverse problems of deformation-strength design. Within this part of actuality are two following problems of deformation-strength properties of materials under design: i) Determination of effective material characteristics by values of control parameters—properties of phases to compose them, internal geometry of the material, pattern of interphase interaction (direct problems); ii) Finding out values of the control parameters to provide formation of materials with specified deformation-strength properties. Problems of two-scale analysis of filled polymeric composite coatings for tribotechnical application. First level is responsible for analysis of a representative mesovolume, where presence of different phases is considered in explicit form. At the second level the material is considered as a homogeneous medium. The obtained results are compared with experimental data with discussion of further prospects as well as for solving practical problems.
