

Nonlinear FEM Analysis and Experimental Research on the Mechanical Behavior of Beam-Column Joint of Concrete-Filled Tube Composite Material
Abstract
Concrete-filled tube composite material is a new building material that is made by concrete and steel tubes. In this paper, the beam-column joints made by composite material were studied in low cyclic loading by finite element analysis and full-scale test. The mechanical properties and failure modes about the semi-rigid joints under low cyclic loading were investigated. The results were compared with each other and indicate that the joint shows good energy dissipation performance.
