Influence of Strain Rate and Temperature on Interface Misfit Dislocation Networks in Ni-based Superalloys
Abstract
The three-dimension dislocation networks play an important role in the superior mechanical properties of Ni-based superalloys. In this paper, the effects of strain rate and temperature on the deformation and damage of dislocation networks in Ni-based superalloys are studied by molecular dynamics simulations. The deformation mechanisms of the phase interfaces at different strain rates and temperatures are explored. The results indicate that the dislocation networks of three different types of phase interfaces show different deformation and damage mechanisms at different strain rates and temperatures.
