The Exploration and Practice on Experimental Teaching Reform for Power Electronics

Abstract


Power Electronics is an important basic course for Electrical Specialty, which has strong applicability and practicality. So aiming at the problems existing in traditional experimental teaching model about significant increase of students and gradual aging of experimental equipment, the paper preliminarily explored the reform of methods and contents on experimental teaching of Power Electronics and proposes a new experimental teaching method that combines classroom teaching and activity after class in the project and combines the experimental platform and the simulation platform in the laboratory. Finally, the result shows that this model not only improves the teaching quality but also strengthen the ability of practical and innovation for the students.
