Combination of the Scientific Research Cases with the Teaching for Speech Signal Processing Course—Take Cepstrum as an Example

Abstract


The course of speech signal processing which focuses a comprehensive multidisciplinary field and a wide range of emerging technologies is an important technical professional course for undergraduates majoring in communication engineering. In order to cultivate the students' scientific research consciousness and improve their experimental ability, we introduce the scientific research cases with the conventional teaching method. We took cepstrum as an example to show how we execute the combination of the scientific research cases with the teaching and demonstrated that the combination of teaching and scientific research cases helps for the development of students' academic vision, the diffusion of students' scientific research thinking, and the cultivation of students' research interests and innovative consciousness.
