Scheme on Digital Watermarking of Medical Images Based on Chaotic System Encryption

Abstract


A digital watermarking scheme based on hyper-chaotic system for medical image is proposed. ROI blocks are detected through the sub-block energy method, than watermark information is embedded into the coefficients of DCT domain of the ROI blocks in medical image, which assured the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. To ensure the security of the information embedded, the watermark information is firstly encrypted with a hyper-chaotic. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is designed with good invisibility, robustness and security, and is a fast and effective medical image watermarking scheme.
