Curriculum Development of “Application Technology of Microcontrollers” Based on Mooc

Abstract


A course development and teaching mode is proposed in the paper. The mode is based on Mooc and taking a large-scale case as the main line. The intelligent controller and sensor circuits of the two-wheels education robot are constructed step-by-step. The characteristics of the external interfaces, the principle of the internal structure, the application of the design method and the C language programming are teaching by means of “do firstly, explain secondly, practice thirdly, evaluate fourthly and expand the lastly”. The traditional teaching methods and teaching architecture are broken completely. As we all known, the application technology of microcontrollers is abstract and difficult to learn. The test result shows that the mode proposed in the paper can solve the problem and improving the vocational abilities of the students.
