Comparative Study of Chinese and American Universities Teaching Based on Curriculum Syllabus

Abstract


This paper takes the course "Introduction to Computer Science" at the University of California, Santa Barbara as the research object. Doing the comparative analysis according to the curriculum syllabus, teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching forms, teaching environment and test methods. In particular, the author focuses on the comparative analysis with the domestic similar courses taught by herself, and draws some inspiration to the current basic teaching of computer science in Chinese universities.
