Optical Analysis of Probe Movement in a Ballistic Measuring Module

Abstract


The use of optical imaging is limited at all stages of the ballistic cycle when accelerating probes in launchers. The developed technology of visualization of ballistic processes allows investigation in detail the process of acceleration of the probe in the guiding element of the launcher - in the barrel gun installation. The result of the study was the establishment of ballistic parameters of private versions of the launcher. The values of the ballistic parameters registered in the implemented launcher are used to check the tasks of mathematical modeling and to obtain additional information about the features of physics and the parameters of the process of internal ballistics -the history of changes in the working mixture, about the work of probes elements at stages of the ballistic cycle, about dynamics of the probe acceleration, about dynamics of the gas flow.
