Abstract

Based on the test requirements of guided rocket, guided aerial bomb and cluster munitions for continuously launching or dropping, a solution of multi flying targets test has been generated by combing techniques of FDMA, GPS and MEMS. The relevant test system has been developed and can be used to test multi flying objects in real time to acquire ballistic parameters including acceleration, angular rate, spinning rate, velocity, position and target’s internal operation signals. These measurement data are transmitted to the ground receiving station by several orthogonal radio channels, then can be processed and analysed for evaluating the dynamic performance of tested projectile. The system composition, operation principle, main specifications and partial test results are described. The results of range test show that the solution is an effective technical approach and has actual application value.
