Fatigue Damage Accumulation under Biaxial Cyclic Loading of Off-Axis Composites



The mechanism of fatigue damage accumulation in laminates is one of the most important subjects in the engineering predictions of composite structures fatigue life. This paper presents a non-linear fatigue damage accumulation model to predict fatigue life of off-axis composites under constant-amplitude biaxial cyclic loading. This type of loading is typical for many elements of various composite structures, therefore the generation of fatigue damage accumulation model for these elements is evidently relevant.
