A Parallel Overset Unstructured Grid Method
Abstract
A parallel overset grid library was developed to solve moving body CFD problems using unstructured grids. The developed library is suitable for the unsteady solution of complex flow fields and complex motions. It can be easily implemented to existing flow solvers with minimum code modifications. Integration of the developed library with a parallel CFD solver is demonstrated and timing experiments are presented for different partitioning of the domain to study accuracy and efficiency.
