The Detecting System of Train Derailment

Abstract


With the development of the high speed railway and urban rail transit, the safety of train running become more important. How to prevent of train derailment was seen as an acknowledged difficulty in researching of railroad. Designing a derailment detecting system with ultrasonic ranging according to the fixed geometric relationship between bogie and rail. The detecting system based on different wheel pair tread to forecasting train derailment and link with emergency braking system. The destination of train derailment design is to decrease and avoid the serious traffic accident of train derailment. The system use train speed, railroad condition, train derailment process record to get the statistics rule of train derailment. The data of rule of statistics is in favor of train derailment research project.
