Research on Vibration Monitoring Device and Alarm Threshold of Cardan Shaft Drive System of EMU

Abstract


In order to solve the problems of excessive dynamic balance caused by improper bearing lubrication and abnormal vibration of transmission system affecting driving safety during the operation of the cardan shaft of EMU, the vibration monitoring device of the cardan shaft is specially developed. By installing vibration sensors on the gearbox and motor, the vibration signals in the frequency section of the cardan shaft of the gearbox and motor measurement point are taken as the characteristic quantity to monitor the cardan shaft health status in real time. According to the simulation analysis of the acceleration response of the measuring point of the cardan shaft of different dynamic balance magnitude at different rotational speeds, the test verification of the platform, and the statistical analysis of the vibration data of the present vehicle of the cardan shaft of the EMU running on different lines, the vehicle-mounted alarm threshold was established and optimized. It is of great significance to provide early warning and alarm information according to fault classification for improving the reliability of the cardan shaft transmission system of EMU.
