Boundary Treatments in Lattice Boltzmann Method
Abstract
The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is widely used in solving hydrodynamics for various systems. Boundary treatment is important in fluid simulation. In this paper, two types of boundary conditions are discussed, fluid-solid boundary and fluid-fluid boundary. The previously reported models are modified for higher accuracy and stability in this paper. Some numerical simulations conformed the higher accuracy and stability compared with the previous methods.
