Analysis of Nonlinear Dynamical Characteristics for Thermoelastic Half-Plane with Voids
Abstract
Based on the linear theory of thermoelastic materials with voids, a relevant nonlinear mathematical model for thermoelastic half-plane with voids under the finite deformation is firstly presented. Then, based on the different quadrature method (DQM), an effective method is presented to solve the non-linear system. Finally, the nonlinear characteristics of a thermoelastic half-plane with voids subjected to a harmonic loading are investigated, and the effects of the number of the grid points on the convergence of the numerical results are considered. The results point out that the DQM has unique advantages for solving nonlinear problems.
