Abstract


Recent environmental issues have become serious due to mass-production and disposal of oil-based plastic products. Thus reduction of the usage of plastics have been required. One of the methods is to utilize natural fiber reinforced plastics (FRP). The usage of FRP could reduce the amount of plastics as matrix and the weight of a structure. The usage of plant-based fiber also reduces environmental impact more than the usage of conventional FRP.
