Discussion on Competence Improvement for Bi-lingual Electrical Engineering Teacher

Abstract


In order to cultivate “compound talent” to meet the demand of rapid developing electrical field, it is important to improve bilingual skills of bilingual electrical engineering teachers. This article will suggest some practicable and feasible ways for a bilingual electrical engineering teacher to improve his bilingual competencies and skills, including getting translation certificate, learning more theory, practicing written translation and oral interpretation as much as possible, learning from some electrical international conferences, and tracing the latest electric industry news and dynamics, and so on.
