Numerical Simulation on LEFP Penetration Movement Target

Abstract


The process of LEFP penetrating into moving targets was numerically simulated and studied. The steel-plate moving targets and steel-tube moving targets were numerically simulated separately and the influence of the target velocity, shape of targets and shape of LEFP to the performance of LEFP were analyzed which contributed to conclude the basic rules of LEFP penetrating moving targets. It can provide reliable reference for the design of LEFP fighters.
