Heating Problem of Stator Strands of Large Air Synchronous Generator

Abstract


In this paper, a three-dimensional model of a large synchronous generator stator is established. Based on the basic theory of heat transfer, the finite volume method is applied, and appropriate assumptions are put forward. The boundary conditions of the solution domain are set to obtain the distribution of the stator temperature field under normal conditions. The temperature of the inlet of the stator hollow strand is changed, and the influence of water temperature on the temperature field of the stator winding is investigated. At the same time, the temperature of the stator winding under different working conditions is simulated, and the variation law of the temperature field of the large synchronous generator is explored.
