Analysis of Heavy Metal Pollution in Soil of Hechao Economic Development Zone

In order to understand the pollution level of soil heavy metals in Hechao Economic Zone of Anhui Province, 63 sampling sites were set up for soil sampling according to the actual conditions , and the concentrations of Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Cd, Cr, As and Zn were measured. The single pollution index method and Nemrow comprehensive pollution index method were used to evaluate the soil heavy metals in the study area. The results show that the detection points of Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Cd, Cr, As and Zn with 42.9%, 88.9%, 34.9%, 46%, 63.5%, 0, 18.8% and 100% respectively are above the standard Class One values. The results provide the necessary data support for the treatment of soil heavy metal pollution in Hechao economic development zone and also have important guiding significance for protecting the zone environment and carrying out the sustainable development of circular economy.
