A Novel MPPT Strategy of Centralized PV Station

Abstract


Based on the single-diode model of photovoltaic cell, the mathematical model of photovoltaic array considering cloud shade is deduced reflecting the relationship between the output voltage and current. The 5 parameters in the model can be solved using the real-time measurements of output voltage and current. Then the U-I expression can be achieved and Lagrangian multiplier method is used to further determine the maximum power point of the photovoltaic array in real time. Environment circumstance is variable during the day, so the 5 parameters change according to it and the solution of the maximum power point can catch up the change.
