Routing Strategy Based on Energy-balancing in Wireless Microsensor Networks

Abstract


In order to prolong network lifetime and reduce energy consumption in wireless microsensor networks, the balance of energy consumption should not be neglected. Microsensor Networks with different energy levels were studied. A hierarchy routing strategy was offered, where data were transported from source to sink by one hop or several hops. The simulation results show that the designed routing strategy can prolong the network lifetime.
