Hypersonic Glide Vehicle Tracking Guidance Using L1 Adaptive Controller in the Presence of Input Saturation

Abstract


This paper describes one of the reference trajectory tracking guidance algorithms using L1 adaptive controller for the hypersonic glide vehicle in the glide phase. The nonlinear dynamic model of glide flight containing uncertain parameters and time-varying disturbances is built. Then L1 adaptive control is used to get onboard reference trajectory fast tracking capability in the presence of large uncertainties, un-modeled dynamics and disturbances. Besides, the deflection command is constraint by amplitude saturation. Finally the numerical simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and advantage of the proposed tracking scheme.
